Question

15 years ago we bought our country dream house. We have made many improvements to the home and it is just about perfect now. We live in a rural area just off I90. The area is zoned primarily agricultural and some commercial. The corn field around our home is being sold for use as a 50 acre truck stop - the biggest in New York State. The area is zoned commercial so we probably can't stop the project. Their are too few houses (3) impacted by the project to make much difference to our county planning board. The proposed plan includes a truck fueling center and lube/ maintenance facility 250 ft. from our bedroom window. We will never get the full value of our home selling privately now that this is happening!! Is there any way we can get this company to buy us out? Please help!
