What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Texas

Well it has come down to trying to get my 1/8 Partitioned off.Now the Attorney that has bought all but 1/4 of the property has said that he can get compensation for the work that he did on the property.

Can he do this are is he blowing smoke.
He did a trick sort of like this to get some of the owners to sell.
