1 yr lse up 7/31/00. Was told "probably" won't renew lease. Didn't receive written notice. Spoke to LL when she srved 3-day notice Pay/Quit, told & verbally agreed to pay rent late with late chg due to moving cost. Still rec'd UD; agreed to stipulation however, she wants owner of new homes name and number, cancelled check and ok from us to contact him; in exchange for the right to stay til 8-15-00 w/pyment of 7/00 and daily rate till 8-15-00. Is this normal? We felt she'd make waves etc. We rec'd the agreement of stipulation verbally on the 5th day after the UD after contacting LL attorney on the 3rd day & as well as prior to being served...Can we appeal so we can obtain an attorney (already have appointment. Rec'd Req for Entry Default notice already.

There are other problems in this lease unknown at lse signing of ongoing construction, noise, daily invasions to our home without any notice from LL; storing of LL farm equiptment in our driveway limiting access to garage for 4-5 months. Power off for three days and arguments re: repairs she felt were too expensive. Lse included livestock but never allowed us have them etc...wouldn't have moved in if we new these wold arise...Have original ad we answered..Any advise re: getting to court to possibly bring up these other items. We are packing...

Discuss all this with your attorney whom you should have hired back in June or earlier. You should be moving out today and have a settlement agreement with the landlord to pay the back rent. L may already have won an eviction and a default judgement against you.
