Question

Unmarried couple split up

What is the name of your state?What is the name of your state? New Mexico

If an unmarried couple owns a house together both on the mortgage and both on the deed and then one partner throws the other out. What steps can be taken by the ousted partner to get their money out of the home? Does it matter who paid what portion of the mortgage payment each month? Do they need to consult a real estate attorney or some other type? The Partner who is staying in the home wants to keep the home but will not agree on a reasonable buyout amount.

Go see a real estate attorney first thing monday morning and file for PARTITION.
