Urgent!! Foreclosure! help!


What is the name of your state? pennsylvania
I am in chptr 13 bnkrptcy now have been for 4 1-2 yrs
mortgage company now trying to foreclose due to interest.
dont want to have to re-file, also after they filed foreclosure I got a new coupon book showing they sold to another company
What should I do? Lawyer tells me not to pay anyone and re-file
any other options..in meantime credit going even more in the crapper! Help please!

**A: when you filed 13, you should have reaffirmed the mortgage and if you were behind on your payments, there should have been 2 payments required to be paid. 1. your regular monthy payment and 2. you mortgage monthly payment as agreed to and directed by the BK Trustee as part of your payment plan.
If you defaulted on either, then you have very few options left.

**A: it appears that in addition to the morgtage, you still have other credit obligations that you cannot meet. If this is the case, I suggest either following the advice of your attorney or getting a second opinion from another BK attorney.
