so we were supposed to close today at 2pm at 12 we get a call that the lender says the mls listing is to low compared to what we are asking (the house is 174,900-we are including ccosts of 11,000 so its 186,000) anyway now the broker calls the realestate agent and they make up a new mls sheet to show 189,000 and we wait and wait from 1230 til 500 well we call at 5 and they say oh well it's to late for the lender they can only wire til 3 (noone tells us this at 330 when they called though) and we can't even dry close so now we wait and noone can even tell us when or a time when we'll close now ???? so now what? we are very frustrated and ready to say forget it all--- any advice and is this cool? we live in Pa any help about this and soon is greatly appreciated!!!!!!!!!!!

Your post is very confusing. Please read it again. I can't tell if you are the Seller or Buyer. You mention broker and real estate agent but apparently these are 2 different people but who does each one represent? A real estate appraisal and an escrow closing have nothing to do with MLS. Once a list price is submitted to MLS it does not get changed unless there is a reduction or increase in the list price agreed to by the Seller. A lender has no authority to change an MLS list price. I am really at loss trying to understand the facts surrounding your situation.

sorry to make you confused-Ok, we are the buyers. There the re agent who represents the sellers and theres the mortgage broker who is on our side or so we thought. We were due to close at 2 the broker calls at 1230 and says that the lender just called her and just obtained a copy of the MLS sheet which shows 174,900 the loan is for 186,000 (it includes closing costs) well the lender is like red flag red flag-so the broker calls the re agent who says oh my fault so he changes the MLS in the computer to now read 189,000 so all day we sit and wait. So the lender is trying to find out when the MLS got changed and since it was computer work there is no record. The re agent faxed the lender the "updated" MLS form to show the new $. As of 6pm Tues the broker is still waiting for the OK to close AGAIN!!! So i wait for her call this am sometime after 8 to see what the deal is now-what can we do other than wait? does this explain it any better for you? i hope-if not i'll try to explain more i was trying to save space------
