We currently own a small parcel of land with a hunting cabin and pond, but do not own the dirt road that leads into it. This road is owned by two different individuals, each of them own different sections of the road.

One of the individuals has allowed us use of the road for over 30 years and has even allowed us to put a locked gate across the road at the entrance. Recently, we have fallen on bad terms with this owner.

Do we have any legal rights to the use of the dirt road.

There is a good possibility that you have easement rights. Consult with a real estate attorney as you must file court action.
