who can I bar from my property

I live in Ohio. My boyfriend and I own a house together. Both of our names are on the title and mortgage. I once heard from someone that where my boyfriend and I can't order each other of the property, it only takes one of us to to keep another person who is not on the title off. He and I were arguing over a family member he feels we should be allow to stay with us to recoup over a bad case of judgment, but I feel it would cause dis-harmony in the home. He says he doesn't need my approval since he owns the home as well and I'll just have to deal with it. I'm not a deal with it person when I pay half the bills and this person won't be contributing to that. What are my rights as a co-owner. Is what I heard true? And please can I have some details. I've got three children involved in this mess, so I need real ansers, not smart comments.
