WHos House is it anyway?

I just bought my first home in Indiana, My boyfriend lives here too = he payed half of mortgage billss during his time here = we are breaking up and had an argument the other night - I called the police and Nothing was done to my boyfriend - the cops said he had every right to be here and that I COULD BE SENT TO JAIL FOR TRYING TO KICK HIM OUT due to the fact that he paid 1/2 of mortgage bills while he is here************** I felt I had no choice but to let him stay but HOw can I legally get him out of my house = my name is the only one on every single paper showing full ownership...Until then I feel like a prisoner in MY OWN HOME>>>

The cops were wrong but the matter is civil and not criminal. Consult a real estate attorney.
