Wrap around driveway use by neighbor

What is the name of your state? Ohio

I am the first house on a dead end street, and previous owners put in a short turn around driveway in front of the house. I am used to the occaisonal person who gets lost or whatever looping through the driveway. Recently the neighbors across the street have been throwing parties and their visitors have been looping through the driveway and parking on the street in front of their house. The same person comes thru 4 times a day, which is getting quite annoying. I have private property signs up at the entrance. I would confront but there are 4 or more in the car, and each one is twice my size. My brother says to park my car in the loop, and/or I was thinking of closing off one end of the loop. I thought I saw a posted sign once about the legality of looping through someones property instead of pulling in and backing out, with fines and criminal charges listed. Any thoughts?

Maybe they have to learn the hard way...put tacks or nails in the way (Maybe you were working on a project). They are treading territory they weren't invited on anyway. How can they complain of damage done to their tires, when your signs clearly state they were uninvited guests. Good luck. I know how it feels to have inconsiderate neighbors and their guests.

Hopefully...

I am hoping they are only here for the holidays, luckily I work nights so I can easily park my car in the loop during the times when they would be interested in using it. I would change the loop but its paved and has nice bushes, someone really put the effort in, just in the wrong place. Previous owner had the same problem, he put up posts and steel cable but except for recently I have not had the level of problem he described. I have been here 5 months.

**A: you can block whatever area of your own private property but not common street or public property.

I was thinking I could get a lawn chair and a shotgun and sit and wait for them to pull in, maybe have a sign about "no public access" "severe tire damage may result". They have big cookouts in the backyard nearly every weekend, which is when the traffic occurs. I have some railroad ties laying around, I was going to place them across the one end and string the cable with a padlock. Make it not worth their effort...

Sounds like a plan.
