| I live in a condo in New York City. My neighbor has knocked down one of two walls between condos probably to increase his space. Problem is, now I can hear everything they say and the barking dog. Isn't there some zoning law to prevent this invasion of privacy? What are my recourses? Thank you for your response. |

| Have you told the condo association officers about this. There may be a restriction to breaking down walls between condos in the rules. You should have a copy of the rules, too. If not, ask the association for one. Condo associations are required to have announced meeting on a certain schedule. Attend the next one or ask in writing to have this situation discussed. Then go with the other owners who object to this situation. |
