We are thinking of opening a home business and the law states that our business would need to be in the back or in the back and to the side of the house.

When you look at the house there is a door and a porch (with columns) that would generally be considered the front. But the address and the entrance we use is on what would be considered the side of the house.

What legally makes up the "Front of the House"?

Thanks.

Generally the front of the house is where the front door and the address is.
Ask your zoning and building dept. for the acceptable location.
