2 Parking Tickets within 12 hours

What is the name of your state? NJ

I had parked my car on 1/2/07 near a corner, but bearly any of the curb was marked with red paint, which makes it impossible to see at night. I thought I parked far enough in front of it, thinking my car was in an ok spot (and since just about the entire neighborhood parks there too without any problems).
The next day, I see 2 parking tickets on my car. One was written up on 1/2/07 at 10:47pm and the other written on 1/3/07 at 7:21am. That's about 9 and 1/2 hours difference between tickets. Plus, no clear location was written on either ticket. The 1/2/07 ticket was from an automatic printer, which doesn't state the exact location, while the 1/3/07 ticket was hand-written, but the location is written illegibly.
Is any of this legal? Can I dispute either of these tickets (or both)? If so, what are the chances of my success with these disputes?

-Keith (NJ)

Use a flashlight if you can't tell where you should and shouldn't park when its dark out. Yes, both tickets are legal. Yes, you can dispute them if you were legally parked during the time of either ticket.

2 Parking Ticket within 12 hours

Some friends of mine have told me that there is a law restricting cops from giving the same person more than one ticket in less than 24 hours. Is that a true law, or just a bunch of garbage?
