3 Inspection Expired tickets on 3 days

What is the name of your state?
New York, NY City

Hi,

My sticker expired on a Tuesday (my car was parked curbside for the rest of the week a block away from my building).

When I went to get the car on Saturday, I had 3 tickets for the same offense (expired inspection sticker). I disputed them and got a reduced fine offer for each of the 3 ($43 instead of $65).

Should I pursue this further - do I have any chance of having this reduced to only 1 ticket for the 1 offense?

Thanks

You're lucky that it was reduced. I'm surprised that your vehicle wasn't towed.

You didn't have one offense. You had an offense every day. Probably more...

If he is lucky, consider the entire New York City lucky, because every person who gets a New York City parking violation and disputes it, gets a reduced offer from New York City.

His vehicle wasn't towed because he didn't rack up a tab of $350.

He should accept the reduced offer because he is as guilty as my son's smirk on his face.

Actually, his deal is better than the usual 20% they offer (closer to 35%? I'm no math major).

But, about 5 seconds with the "search" button up top would have given the OP the answer he sought. I wonder how long it took to type the post...
