8 parking tickets

I live in NYC. Yesterday my motorcycle rec'd a tkt. along with 8 (eight) other M/Cs and the traffic agent noted the SAME meter number for all 8 ( EIGHT) cycles on ALL 8 summons. On some he noted one address and on the others he noted another address. Can these 8 summons be successfully fought in NYC traffic court. Thank you. What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?

On what basis, exactly, do you think the tickets should be dismissed?

Is all 8 ticket in one day, for the same violation?
How far apart are the address he noted on the tickets?

You may have a case, all the tickets have the same parking meter number, and different address. Especially if it's written by the same officer.

More info is needed.

Meters don't have street addresses. As long as both addresses are the approximate location of the meter, what makes you think that there is an inconsistency.

So you'll tell me the same office standing here writing him 8 ticket at one time on the same meter, can chose any address across the streets and what address is located in front of the meter. I always though, closest address in front of the meter. If the same office who wrote all the ticket, is the meter moving? or is the building moving?

Don't get snarky with me.
He writes a few tickets at 242 Bleeker St. Moves down the line and looks up at the buildings and writes a few at 244 Bleeker. As I said, meters don't have addresses. Unless the address is so wildly inappropriate that it doesn't describe the location of the meter, you're not going to do squat with the discrepancy.

Next time you park eight motorcycles in the same parking space, one of you heck's angels are going to have to dig out a quarter for the meter.

My mistake though, I mis read his post and though he had 8 parking tickets on one bike. Not 8 bikes and 8 tickets.

Credit given...

Can you even fit 8 bikes in one meter space? If the bikes "spilled over" into other metered spaces, but the tickets don't reflect that fact, they can be contested on that basis. But if they were all in the same spot, then you had better hope the tix were filled out incorrectly because there's no other defense available.
