Arizona university parking ticket for non-student

My boyfriend received a parking ticket from my university yesterday ([url]http://www.asu.edu/dps/pts/parkingreg.htm[/url]) because he was parked in a 20 minute zone for allegedly more than 20 minutes (it was probably closer to 10 but is worth it to contest it or not).

Yes, I realize it's only a $25 dollar ticket... but does this get reported to any sort of 'real' authority? If it's not paid, I can only find on the site that they can suspend him from the university and blah blah but he is NOT a student at my university. If it is paid, would that count against his insurance or anything?

Call security at the university and ask them.

I wouldn't think these parking tickets could even be reported by the university because they wouldn't be allowed into the computer with that kind of stuff.

Anyway, that's my guess.
