I would like to know if a ticket is defective if it has no plate number I received two tickets today and neither of them had a plate number on them just the bin number is this enough to have them dismissed?

If the ticket is for, say, not properly displaying a license plate, then no, not having the plate number on the ticket itself is not grounds for dismissal.
