Bus Stop Parking Ticket

What is the name of your state?NY
I was driving to college my first week and arrived there 15 min early as usual and parked. After walking down the block, I realized there was alternate side parking that day and I had parked on the side which was to be cleaned. I went in the car and drove to look for another parking space and after literally half an hour found one and parked. (I ended up coming late to class and the prof failed me on a quiz that he gave even though i explained what happened ) After I finished my classes and walked back to the car (already upset), I was shocked to find a $115 ticket for parking in front of a bus stop. Now, my car was very far away from the stop ;room enough for 2 city buses to park in between the stop and my car and there was at least 3 houses with driveways between. Therefore I took pictures showing how far away it was. Later, when I was showing them to my friend, he told me that it didnt matter that I was far away since it isnt allowed to park from the begninning of the block(which is where the car was) all the way to were the bus stop was. I really didnt know this and thought it was ok if i was far away. (Just to point out that its really ironic since inorder to avoid getting a less severe ticket, I come late to class, fail my first quiz, and ended up getting a more severe ticket in the end). My question is that do I have a chance if I plead not guilty and explain what happened with showing them the pics (inorder to show that it wasn't intentional and the buses technically weren't blocked) if not having it dismissed at least lowering the fine? Thank You!

I have submitted your very interesting question to Madam Tashia, the world renowned psychic and fortune teller. I will post her guess as soon as she gets back to me.

There are at least 17 lawsuits (!!) pending in various courts, including the US Supreme Court, asking if Obama is a natural born citizen (as req'd by Art II, Sec 1 of the US Constitution).

Why has he spent over $1.35M in legal fees to block disclosure... rather than spend $12 for a VALID birth cert to settle the matter? The 'certificate' he has presented doesn't qualify to get a drivers license, wouldn't allow a child to qualify for Little League, or for a real citizen to get a US passport!
