CA DMV takes 3-5 months to post a Release of InterestWhat is the name of your state? CA I got it in writing today. A manager of a DMV office gave me written proof that the DMV sometimes takes up to five months to process the Notice of Transfer/Release of Liability forms. So 2.5 months ago i filed a release properly and requested a photocopy that was date stamped. Last week comes a ticket. Ticket reads: "A declaration of non-Ownership attesting to a bona fide sale or Transfer of a vehicle CAN (emphasis added) when properly filed, act to effect dissmissal of the charge of subsequent verification is received from DMV." Well folks, as I alluded to above, the Drug Free Workplace we call the DMV here in California is having trouble finding its own arse. Should,nt their silly blurb read SHALL not CAN and IF? I keep forgeting that my sense of fair play is antiquated. Oh well, I wrote a letter of complaint to ARNOLD. I sent the city a boatload of proof, the DMV managers statement, a sworn affidavit, and for good measure, I sent the offending parking agency a nice little ITS that says if that if that bogus ticket EVER hits my Credit Report I'll see the City's silly arse in Sacramento Federal Court on Fair Credit Reporting Act Violations. Did I mention the DMV has spend upwards of 1.5 billion dollars of tax payers money on failed upgrades in the last dozen years? I called two Republican assemblymen, about the five month backlog, but they don't seem to think this is a hot issue. |
