can they do that?What is the name of your state? Calif. I was issued a citation for something I did not do. Rather than argue with the police officer, I signed the ticket because he said I could contest it by mail. I followed all the directions on the ticket and contacted the court and there was never any record of the citation. (even on the last day of the deadline) Now, 1 1/2 months after the original appearance deadline, I receive a Courtesy notice. Doesn`t the court have to meet deadlines too? |
