Got cited for marked lane violation (blocking bike path) as a parking ticket .
I drive a class a truck in the city and I do double park often for either deliveries or stop for lunch . Ive received parking tickets before ,give them to my company and they pay it off. but this particular time i double parked ( busy time on Friday) ,I stopped to get a coffee . As I was waiting inside ther officer was outside the shop and was yelling for to me to move my truck and he took exception that I was parked to get a coffee. I want outside and told him I would be out in one sec. He told me to have my license ready . So I gave him my license and then he asked for my registration to the truck . Came back to me with citation. 89-4a marked lane violation under that says blocking bike path . Checked no on CDL vehicle. Is this normal procedure on a parking violation ? . Is this the correct violation and is this considered a moving violation....?????Will this go on my driving record ?
Should I appeal ? Thanks in advance!!
