    Court date falls on holiday

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Illinois

My 17 year old daughter received a $120 ticket for driving without her license. She was told that if she didn't want to pay the ticket, she should show up for the scheduled court date with her driver's license. We went today for her court appearance, not realizing that it's President's Day, and the courthouse is closed. What do we do?

I would suggest that she be there first thing tomorrow morning.
