Dirty lying policeman gave me an undeserved parking ticket

I parked my car in Brooklyn NY without any violations, next day I came back and see I received a parking ticket. Ticket sais "non standing, bus stop". I was very surprised, because I did not do anything wrong, there is no restricted signs, no hydrants, no bus stop, nothing! There was no reason to give me a ticket!!! I took pictures of my car from every side. Then I notice, the person who gave me the ticket put wrong address in the ticket, like my car was standing not where it was, but on the other side of the street on the bus stop. I`m sure it was not a mistake, the policeman lied, he writes false information. I`m shocked, I thought it`s just could not be. How can I prove my car was not parked on the other side of the street? And what to do with lying policeman? I think this scoundrel should not work in police.

This is not funny. This is no less than robbery and I have to do something about it. Question is, what can I do in this nasty situation?

Prove it. Prove your car was parked on a legal parking at the exact time the police wrote you a ticket. Prove the pictures you took wasn't AFTER you moved the car across the street AFTER you got a ticket. Prove the police officer had something to gain by lying.

How is it possible to prove it? Every time you park on a street, can you prove your car was at exact place at exact time?
I google and it looks like this is very common situation. In New York police writing "bull**** tickets" to gain some money for the city. It`s a gang mob.

You're getting a lot of answers here because you need to moderate your tone.
Your "lying policeman" statement is inflammatory (even if it were true). It won't work any better in the avenues available to you than it will here.

If you tone it down a bit you might get some better answers as how to approach the hearing. It's highly unlikely that the cop (if it was indeed even a policeman who wrote the ticket) intentionally lied.

Here's the basic information on disputing the ticket:

    http://www.nyc.gov/html/dof/html/par..._dispute.shtml

Placing the wrong side of the street address on the ticket is of no bearing.

Bus zones are huge. Are you sure there is no bus stop sign anywhere on the side of the street? What is the actual address that this occurred at.

Robbery requires force, or the threat of force.

What force was used to deprive you of your property?
The Fifth Amendment to the United States Constitution prohibits the government from making you answer any questions that may incriminate you.

    Go watch this video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6wXkI4t7nuc

Refusing to answer questions is NOT obstruction. Lying to the police is obstruction. If you say "I don't know" when you really do, that's obstruction. I suggest using the phrase "I'm sorry, but I don't believe it is in my best interest to answer your questions".

There is NO bus stop around 100 yards.
Actual address where was my car is 2300 Cropsey Ave. Brooklyn. In the ticket 2255 Cropsey Ave.
You can`t confuse these two addresses unless you want to do it intentionally.

Facts can be proven. So prove it! Easy peasy.
