Double Parking question

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? NJ

Hi guys I have a question, is it legal for a police vehicle to double park on a 4 laned BLVD. street, 2 lanes going in each direction if the police are only giving out a parking ticket , and not in the midst of an emergency call. If anyone can answert this question can you also possibly cite the law that backs it up?
Thank You
Regards,
Sam

Yes, it's legal.

Or rather, even if it's not legal for an officer to do so, this will not in any way effect whatever charges you have against you for parking illegally.

Yes, it's legal.

Now, suppose it's not legal. Who's gonna give him a ticket?
