I got a ticket for expired inspection sticker, i didnt know it was expired, it was only 2 weeks out and it was on my work vehicle that i do not own, but i decided to pay it..went to justice court and the officer had not turned in the ticket ...waited 2 weeks, cop still didnt turn in ticket....waited until the court date on the ticket and he still had not turned it in and they wouldnt take my money...2 weeks later i got a notice in the mail to pay or they would suspend my license....is the ticket or affadavit expired since the officer didnt turn in the ticket till after the court date????? please help
