What is the name of your state? Arizona

I recently received a citation for criminal speeding. At the time I was pulled over, I did not have my vehicle registration card with me. The officer who cited me told me that I could get a copy and send it in to have the violation (for failure to cary registration) dissmissed, however he made no further comment on the issue, nor is there any reference to it in the document he gave me, and I failed to inquire further (one of several failures on my part). Since then I have been unable to find any information on this. Is this true? or what would be the most apropriate venue to look into it further? I considered going down to the court and trying to ask there. Im very eager to look as good as possible when I apear for the speeding violation, and getting this dissmissed before my court date would be great, not to mention saving the $108 fine.

Thanks
