What is the name of your state? New jersey I recently was stopped and given a ticket for Failure to exhibit registration documents! If I obtain a duplicate of my registration from DMV will I still be required to pay the $180 fine?

The ticket is not for failure to be registered, but for failure to provide proof of it, of which you are apparently guilty. If you show up to court with proof that you were properly registered at the time of cite, you MIGHT see some leniency from the court, but do understand that there is no guarantee of such.
