Fines

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? ca

IM in CA and i got a 22106 unsafe start and a 27151 mod. exhuast and finally a 24252 turn signal infraction. The two mods were marked non correctable but someone told me if i get the dealer to fill out a form saying the things were all corrected they get lowered to CORRECTABLE and then dissmissed. Is this true??? Also worse case for all three fines plus court fees...how much will it all cost ballpark??

Ballpark ...

22106 - $201
27151(a) - $163
24252(a) - $163

Total about $527

If the court allows you to submit proof of correction, then the total should be about $251.

is that with court/assesment fees??? yea the cop marked non correctable but it took the dealer like 1/2 hr to get my motorcycle back to factory specs so i dont know why its not considered correctable.... i have the form that says they fixed it all back to stock so is that enough proof? the highway patrol would not even look at my bike.

A dealer letter will not serve as sufficient proof of correction. The citation has to be signed off by either the CHP, the Sheriff Dept or a local PD.

Interesting... Is that because it is marked as non-correctable/

Yes, the $251 that Carl quoted is broken down to $201 for VC 22106 + $25 for each of VC 27151(a) & 24252(a). However, if you cannot get the correction, then you're gonna have to pay the $527.
