What is the name of your state? Georgia. My son recently parked on the street near a friends house at night (all night) in Sandy Springs,GA. There was a fire hydrant blocked by a large bush and there are no street lights on the street,or any otther markings, including no blue reflector in the middle of the street, therefore making the hydrant impossible to see. He received a ticket the next morning at 8:00am. Is there a law that states a hydrant must be visable at night.

The blue reflector is purely for the convenience of fire companies looking for the hydrant. The hydrant itself needs no special marking. It behoves you when parking to look along the entire stretch of curb for hydrants, driveways, and other things that make parking there improper.
