Got first parking ticket, do I NEED to go to court? Nassau County, New York

I live in Nassau County New York.
I got a parking ticket today for parking in a no parking zone. I know I'm guilty, so I'd rather just pay the $25 dollar ticket and get it over with. Do I need to go to court no matter what?
Or can I pay the ticket online/inperson/onphone and it will be all over with?
I tried calling them, waited 40 minutes then hung up, and the website has no information regarding this.

It says at the bottom of the ticket: "A plea of guilty to this charge is equivalent to a conviction after trial. If you are convicted, not only will you be liable to a penalty, but in addition your license to drive a motor vehicle or motorcycle, and your certificate of registration, if any, are subject to suspension and revocation as prescribed by law"
I don't know anything, so that confused me.
I just wanted to make sure that by "payment" they meant you automatically plead guilty and do not have to go to court. I wasn't sure if pleading guilty means you still must go to court.

Nope. They prefer to just have your money, not your body.

Ok, thanks for replying. It is my first ticket so I have nothing to base my knowledge on. I just want to avoid getting in more trouble. There are so many ways of dealing with the ticket I thought it was confusing.

Also, it says nothing on the ticket about paying by phone or online, so I don't know if I still have to send in the ticket with "plead guilty" filled out if I pay the ticket online. Sounds to me like I shouldn't have to though.
