Handicap ParkingWhat is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? PA I live in an apartment complex in Pittsburgh. We drove back at night and parked in a spot marked for our building. Next morning the car had been towed due to parking in a handicap parking spot. It was only then we noticed that the ground was marked with blue paint which had completely faded. There was no way I could see it at night, its practically invisible during the day. Also there was no vertically mounted universal handicap park sign. I read other posts and it seems that both the ground paint and vertically mounted sign have to be present for it to be a valid handicapped parking spot. Is it true for PA too? Should I just talk with the management of the apartment or talk to city authorities. I really think I did not do anything wrong and the car was wrongfully towed. Thanks a lot for all the help. |

| Who authorized the tow? The management of the complex, or a police officer?
