Handicap Parking in Business Lots

What is the name of your state? MA

I have a state issued handicap placard. In public places, MA law allows for parking at metered spots for free when the placard is displayed. Do similar laws apply to business lots? At my work place in Boston, MA, employees generally pay ~$100/month for parking. This rule is to encourage employees to take public transportation. Is there any law that states whether I would have to pay the $100/month to use the handicap space at work? I really have no other option than to drive to work (public transportation is not easily accessed), so it seems unreasonable for me to have to pay.

If you could point me to a place to search for the applicable rules, I would appreciate it. thanks.

The govenment has no right to regulate a business. The ONLY thing you have is the right to park in handicapped spaces if they are available. NOT to park for free on private property.

I will say right now that the first sentence of that post definitly belongs, as a late submission, to the top most stupid posts I have ever read. That being said, it is possible that the lot has a discount program available for elderly and disabled motorists, i have seen many private lots that do, so try contacting the lot administrator. And every state has unique laws regarding these issues, so i would do some more research.
