Handicapp and Fire zone parking

What is the name of your state? Texas

My apartment complex does not offer assigned parking, So everyone has to fend for themselves. I work till midnight and our complex is known to have breakins and i have a 2 year old daughter so i came home and there was no parking. I parked in the handicapp spot. I have done it 3 times before and nothing ever happend. I woke up and i had recieved a ticket for parking in the handicap spot. Every single night i have seen numerous people doing the same thing and i have not seen a cop writitng them citations. There is a handicapp guy in my area that doesnt even park in the spot, he parks in the regular spots and sometimes takes up 2 because he cant park. what can i do? I almost see this as a racial issue, because the same exact cars are not moving and me and my managers at my complex do not get along

Strange - I see it as a person who is not handicapped parking in the handicap spot for his own convenience.

Is it still strange if I agree with you?
