If you aren't handicapped, stop parking in handicapped parking spaces and you won't get an exorbitant ticket to pay. Yes, these tickets are made to be incredibly expensive in order to get the point across that it's a BAD idea to take a space away from a legitimately handicapped driver or their passenger.

No, it's NOT ok to park there, not even for a minute while you run in and get something, or go in to grab your child, or whatever, if you are NOT a handicapped person with the proper placard or state-issued license plates to identify you.

And, what happens if the spot is properly identified as a handicapped spot?
Or, what happens if the plaque fell down and the OP is trying to get information on how to mitigate this ticket?

Or what happens if OP is handicapped but doesn't have a placard or license places?

Or what happens if OP doesn't think it's fair that all the good spaces in front of the establishment are clearly marked as handicapped spaces, and there is nowhere else to park but in them?

We could go on all day with "What Ifs". OP never came back to tell us what their question was, so we should probably wait until they do so we can give a specific response to the actual question instead of speculating... :D
