I was supposed to pay for a ticket TODAY!New York City I got a ticket exactly a month ago and I have until today to pay for it. The problem is that I don't have the money until later on today, about 12:00am. Is this too late? What do I do if I get a warrant? Also, I am applying for a green card. Will this affect my green card? Please, any help is appreciated. Thanks.

OpJesus, what a bunch of morons in here. I got a ticket for putting a bag on the seat beside me in the subway at 4am when I was the only person in the subway car. The cops walked through to the car that I was in and must have not got any sex from his wife the night before and decided to give me a ticket. To the first replier. You sir, are the stereotypical redneck idiot that gives the rest of your countrymen/woemen a bad name throughout the rest of the world. If you don't have anything good to say then keep your idiotic and offensive comments to your self. My suggestion to you is to get off your computer and go outside. Get a life. I know your type exactly. Thats why when I first posted my original question it took you less then a minute to reply with your rasist bull****. I am sure you are sitting there in your filthy house in your y-fronts sitting at your computer all day long. Go out and do something constructive instead of critisizing everything. The reason for this citys' debt is not because of immigrants. It's because of the leaches who live off the welfare and never work a day in their life, the people who refuse to work unless they get the $40 or $50 dollars per hour. Immigrants built this city, mostly because of my fellow countrymen who came here a long time ago, so I would have a bit more respect because at one time, weather it be your grandparents or great grandparents your family were immigrants, unless you are a native indian. You people forget these things so easy. I am never going to look at this site again, so don't waste your time replying to this post.
