Incorrect Date Noted by Officer

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? CALIFORNIA (Los Angeles)

I received a 60 USD parking ticket for parking in a cleaning zone. The parking enforcement wrote down the incorrect year (2010 instead of 2009). Can this ticket be dismissed because of this mistake?

You can contest the violation and find out. I'm guessing that the date along won't impact the violation, but the hearing officer or panel may feel otherwise.

It CAN be dismissed for a great many reasons ... but, the fact that it CAN be dismissed does not mean that it WILL be.
