inspection sticker expired j 6 NYS

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?
NY

I received a parking violation ticket for inspection sticker expired j 6 NYS.

I noticed that the ticket doesnt have the VIN # (its says N/A). Also, it doesn't reflect the full plate #. it only has the first 3 letters of my car's plate...

I also got my inspection done the following day...

I think there are two ways to fight this ticket....can someone please let me know should i fight this ticket as "defective information on the ticket" or should I request the judge to waive the ticket as i got the inspection done the next day?

Thanks

If you were to click that cute little blue "search" link in the bar above and enter "NYS inspection" as your search terms, you'd find that your exact question has been answered before, multiple times.

Good luck.
