Just Visiting?

If someone owns a house in another state but has lived full time in Nevada for over a year, can they be fined for not having registered their vehicle in Nevada? Also, what if they don't have a license displayed anywhere on the vehicle?

Well, I asked because I want to know (duh) and if I could find "directions for using this forum", I would read them! Are you always this rude to newbies?

Owning a residence in another state is not a valid reason to not license the vehicle in Nevada. The only exceptions Nevada has to it's 30 day rule is for military and college students living on campus. Other than that, any out of state vehicle must be licensed in Nevada within 30 days. Not having a license displayed is a good way to get a ticket for having and unregistered and unlicense vehicle.

Yes. Especially to fools who INTENTIONALLY delete the first question asked of them.
