license plate covered fine but out of state

What is the name of your state? CT but car was in NYC/Bronx when I got the parking ticket.

Hey....i have a CT license plate but got a ticket for having my front license plate covered...i wasn't aware of the law in NY that u can't have it covered. should i still be liable even if i'm out of state? thanks!

I would bet large amounts of money it is Connecticut.

Is CT insurance really any cheaper than NY? (I know NJ's isn't.)

But given the wackiness of some posters, I no longer assume anything. If they want the answers, they can fill in the blanks
