I was recently pulled over in Pennsylvania and I failed to produce proof of insurance (mine was expired.) I was cited. I plead guilty and paid my fine and purchased an insurance policy. Then, a few weeks later, I received a letter in the mail stating that my license was going to be revoked for 3 months.

I live alone with no family in the area. I absolutely need my license. I was wondering if you could explain to me what options, if any, I have. Can I appeal this? And if I can, how do I go about it? Is there any way I can avoid having my license suspended? It would be catastrophic otherwise.
