Los Angeles Parking Sign Posting Regulations?

Los Angeles, CA

I received a parking ticket for a street cleaning zone that I don't think was marked properly. The nearest no parking sign was over 100ft away, and on the other side of a major commercial parking entrance from where I parked.

So... Where can I find the regulations about Los Angeles parking sign postings? The Parking Violations Bureau ( http://www.lacity-parking.org/laopm/pvb_home.html ) seems to be a dead end for such information.

did you even try to use the search function on this site???

This question has been addressed several times before, specifically for CA and Los Angeles

Actually, yes, I did use the search tool before posting.

I've even gone back since you posted, and still haven't found any information. While I see lots about Los Angeles and parking, I have yet to find any about sign posting regulations or where to find such regulations. Please tell me, what is the magic search word. Or better yet, an actual link or other reference.

Same question. And yes, I used the search function as well. There's no topic here with a link to the relevant parking codes. I was more than 100 ft from the nearest No Parking sign (LA County), and got ticketed.

Please start your own thread.

In that thread, please post the specific municipal code or vehicle code section for which you were cited (and jurisdiction ... name of city or county).

So I can ask the exact same question and get the same "use the search tool" non-answer? Yeah, that's bound to be fruitful.

So instead you chose to hijack a thread that already gave the "search tool" answer?
