Maryland Quitclaim?

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Maryland

My fiance bought a new car almost 4 years ago. He was dating his ex-girlfriend at the time that he purchased it. Obviously they are no longer together, but she is still on the loan and the registration and the car title. He has asked her many times to help him "buy" her half of the car, and she refuses, stating "My boyfriend doesn't think it's a good idea." We can't afford to pay the 1,000$ in taxes to get her off it it ourselves.

My mother told me about the quitclaim. I was looking for a form that we could get her to fill out, but I cannot find one. Any one have any ideas? Would it even work?
