What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Missouri
I am interested in finding out if a car can be towed off a missouri commuter lot without any warning, notice or tickets, and if so what would those reasons be if any
I have an officer who states that my vehicle was abandoned there on a lot,
he claims that the vehicle was on the lot for over 48 hours
I say it was not but with no ticket, no court date I see no facing my accuser
I called MoDot they said that they do not have primary jurisdiction over the lots they are patrolled and enforced by the State Highway Patrol
I called the State Highway Patrol they said that they do not enforce any lots unless requested to by MoDot
My last contact with a supervisor at the local highway poatrol troop said there are no holds by the state on my car and I should just settle up with the tow company
I dont believe that this is right, no due process, just pay the man and shut up

Does any one have any similar experience and or know how to deal with this one
