NY State Seat Belt violation

Hi,
I got a ticket in the state of NY for a seat belt violation. It was for my son who was sitting in the back of the car and did not have his seat belt on. He is under the age of 16, therefore I got an ticket and fine in the amount of $120. The officer also told me that there are 3 points with the ticket.

Now my question is, are points going to transfer to my MD license. I m current resident of the state of Maryland. I think I should just pay the fine and be over with it. I would just like to know if the points are going to transfer on to my driving record?

No points for out of state tickets in Maryland except for "serious" offenses (DUI, leaving the scene of an accident, ...) of which this isn't one. It will show on your Maryland record but no points will be assessed.
