NYC parking tickets/tow

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? New York

I received two tickets and was towed. One ticket alleged I was parked in a school zone (don't believe I was) and the other was issued because my inspection sticker had become detached from the windshield. The parking ticket states that I was parked at an address that is not in the school zone (the school zone is one block south). Assuming I'm able to get the parking ticket dismissed, is the sticker violation a towable offense?

I'm not sure I understand why you even ask. Whether it is or it isn't, your car was still towed. Assuming you get the parking ticket dismissed (and it sounds like you should), how does that change history?
