Old Denver Parking Violations

I recently received a parking ticket dated 1997. I noticed that someone else on this forum also received an old ticket from a collection agency purporting to represent Denver. I think it is some kind of fraud or error so I am trying to get in touch with anyone and everyone who is getting old tickets from Denver.
