Opposite Direction of Traffic - In My Driveway

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? FL

I walked outside this morning to find 2 tickets (written 13 minutes apart, but that's a different story) on my car for "parked opposite direction of traffic" and "opposited parking". Now, had I been parked on the street, fine, I'd pay in an instant, no questions asked. But I wasn't parked in the street, I was parked in a driveway, with all 4 tires and every inch of my car on that driveway.

Both tickets are in violation of the same code Section 30 of Miami Dade code 388.7

Can they really ticket me for parking opposite the direction of traffic in a driveway?

The only thing i can think of is that it was the section of the driveway that exists between the sidewalk and the street, and maybe that's considered part of the street?

Any thoughts?

Thanks,What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?

Were you parked facing into or out of your driveway, or were you parked across the driveway between sidewalk and street, parallel to the street facing the wrong way? The area between sidewalk and street is usually part of the public right of way or easement (even though you have to mow the lawn or otherwise maintain it). Facing the wrong way means you drove left of center to get there.
