out of state parking


What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?
Kansas


Hey guys
I am from kansas and was in california for business where i got 3 parking tickets , i am back in ks and dont need to go to california anytime in the near future , should I pay the tickets or let the bureaucracy do what it does , i dont wanna pay unless it does hurt my credit . Also do u guys know what tactics does the city of berkeley ca ,employ to get unpaid tickets taken care of , do they go to collection agencies.]\

Most states are members of the Non Resident violator compact and or the Driver License compact. If you don't pay the CA tickets, it may forward the notice to KS. You may receive a notice that unless they are taken care of your KS license will be suspended.

You need to look into that.

Obviously you're just trying to scam. You apparently received three legit parking violations, since you're not disputing that part.

Just throw them in the garbage and screw California. Good luck.
