What is the name of your state?New York
While moving apartments in New York City, I rented a small 10' truck to move my belongings.
The rental office was open only in the morning from 9-10am for my pick up, so I was due to return the truck the next morning.
Seeing no special signs prohibiting parking on my street (aside from street cleaning), I parked the truck across the street from my building, only to discover a parking ticket on it the next morning for Code 78 "Nighttime Prkg Comm. Vehicle Residential St."
What are my responsibilities in this case?

Thanks
