| Parking at a hydrant What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? NY
I ran into a dry cleaner to drop off some stuff and was given a ticket for parking by a hydrant. The officer was still there and gave me the usual 'once I scan your tags there is nothing I can do' line. He then went into how sometimes he hates his job because his job is to make people's day bad..blah, blah, blah. Then he said to just fight the ticket and I should win because even though I was in the dry cleaner he filled out the spot on the ticket asking for name of operator with "Owner of the vehicle bearing license". Now because he filled it in that way do I have a legit chance of beating the ticket or did he just say that so I would let him finish writing up the ticket without hassling him?
Thanks in advance |
